Business Email Composer
Compose a clear, goal-oriented business email ready to send.
Draft a professional email that achieves a specific goal, calibrated to the audience and situation, ready to send with minimal editing.
EMAIL STRUCTURE:
Compose the email with these elements:
1. SUBJECT LINE
- Write a clear, specific subject line (under 8 words) that signals the email's purpose
- For follow-ups, include context: "Follow-up: [Topic] from [Date/Meeting]"
2. GREETING
- Match formality to the stated tone and recipient relationship
- Use the recipient's name if known
3. OPENING (1-2 sentences)
- State the purpose immediately; do not bury the lead
- For follow-ups, briefly reference the prior interaction
4. BODY (2-4 short paragraphs)
- Present key points in a logical sequence
- Use bullet points if conveying 3 or more distinct items
- Include any necessary context or supporting detail, but be concise
- If making a request, be explicit about what is needed and by when
5. CALL TO ACTION (1-2 sentences)
- State the desired next step clearly and specifically
- Include a deadline or timeframe if relevant
- Make it easy for the recipient to respond (yes/no question, specific options, etc.)
6. CLOSING
- Match the sign-off to the tone (e.g., "Best regards" for formal, "Thanks" for friendly)
OUTPUT CONSTRAINTS:
- Keep total email length under 200 words unless the content genuinely requires more
- One idea per paragraph; use whitespace generously
- Avoid filler phrases ("I hope this email finds you well", "Just wanted to reach out")
- Match the specified tone precisely: formal, friendly, urgent, or other
- Do not include information not provided in MY INFO; ask rather than assume
- Provide the email ready to copy-paste, with subject line on a separate first line
